In 2020 confectionery giant Mars Wrigley expanded its portfolio with the launch of sugar free Extra Refreshers with a range of variants in differentiated packaging in a move designed to offer consumers a fuller, more intense gum-chewing experience, with longer lasting flavour than ever before.
To follow on from an intensive 3-month 2021 ‘At Home’ sampling campaign during which Confero distributed 1 million individual samples of Extra ‘Bubblemint’ chewing gum across a range of high profile online fashion and beauty retailer networks, Confero has now created a consumer facing, engaging brand to hand experiential roadshow marketing campaign on behalf of Mars-Wrigley and Extra Refresher’s.
With continuity of the ‘FRESHEN UP, FLAVOUR UP Extra Refresher’s product message, Confero sourced and produced branded display stands, branded clothing and provided brand ambassador staffing as a one-stop shop. Extra Refresher’s brand to hand sampling is taking place in busy high footfall areas across London Victoria, Nottingham and Manchester Piccadilly railway stations and Lakeside, Nottingham Victoria Centre and Manchester Arndale shopping centres.
The Confero experiential roadshow shadows Extra Refreshers’ POS sampling exclusively in-store with WH Smith in the same venues giving consumers the ultimate opportunity to try and experience the fuller, more intense, longer lasting Extra Refresher’s flavour on the go.
