We do a lot of work with Publishers, and a great way to promote a new novel directly to the core demographic readership is to give them a chapter sampler, or teaser to read. To celebrate and promote the release from the Sunday Times bestselling author Paige Toon’s new book ‘The Minute I saw you’, Confero produced bespoke branded bookmarks and distributed directly to existing and potential new fans and customers shopping online with fashion retailer Miss Selfridge.
The eye catching bookmarks act as the perfect keep sake for readers while also successfully promoting the book release. To further extend the reach of this campaign amongst the core target audience, Confero facilitated a consumer facing competition hosted on Miss Selfridge Instagram.
The competition saw 4 lucky winners win a copy of the book and one very lucky winner an additional £250 Miss Selfridge Gift Card! The perfect low entry cost mechanic to increase campaign reach to an impressive 662k Instagram followers, and create an incentive for the audience to interact with the brand.
The competition posts included one main entry post, and boosted on Instagram Stories four times over the course of 7 days to ensure maximum reach, views and entries.
