For the second time this year Penguin Random House Publishers ran a campaign to promote the release of the latest thriller‘The Woman in Cabin 10′ by Ruth Ware, throughutilising our fashion retailers. 20 pre-selected Oasis stores, which were in close proximity to WHSmith stores, distributed chapter samplers to customers at till point. The sample also included a 50% discount voucher for the book. The sampling campaign was also supported by fitting room posters which advised customers to pick up their free chapter sampler at the till. This proximity campaign delivered perfect product trial branding and awareness to the desired target audience of ABC1 women aged 18-54, engaging with consumers across a variety of touch points.
