Throughout February 2020, Confero Marketing fulfilled an online product sampling campaign for The Body Shop’s Hemp Hand Protector. The product is The Body Shop’s best-selling hand cream, and is part of a wide range of popular hemp products from the cosmetics, skin care and perfume company.
55,000 individual sample packs were distributed directly to customers making online purchases through Confero’s fashion retailer partner’s Oasis and Warehouse. A core end-user audience of ABC1 women aged 20-34 received the sample enclosed within their online parcels in their own homes. Research suggests that free sample offers when received in the consumers own home encourages higher retention and trial, increasing the likelihood of future purchase.
The samples in tube format were delivered in a protected cardboard sleeve that gave shoppers more information on the product with customer reviews, plus a 25% off voucher code to use in-store and online – making the perfect free gift for a defined audience of fashion, health and beauty lovers.
